AMRT Winners Search & Rescue Category
Saturday 4th November saw most of the Team on a training excercise in the Cairngorms. Meanwhile our Secretary Dawn and Team member Martin attended the Original 106fm Pride of Aberdeen Awards ceremony at the Beach Ballroom.
We had been nominated for this award (we know not by whom) and our first indication was an email informing us that we had reached the final three.
We were delighted to be the winners in the Search & Rescue category, as we were up against strong and worthy competition.
We would like to thank our nominator and all the people who voted for us. Winning this award proves to us how much support we have from the public, without which we would not be able to remain operational.
