Welcome

AMRT is based in Westhill, in the North East of Scotland. We provide a volunteer rescue service for walkers, climbers and others who enjoy outdoor activities in the Cairngorms, and the hills of lower Donside and Deeside.

AMRT is funded through a combination of our own fundraising activities and those of Aberdeen and St. John Mountain Rescue Association, who are a registered charity and to whom we are greatly indebted. The aim of our site is to give you an overview of our team, our activities and the role we play in overall rescue services.
